GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

The classroom teacher is responsible for delivering high quality instructional experience consistent with the curriculum standards of the school district. Essential duties for all faculty members include: classroom instruction; conferences with students, parents and colleagues; active participation in the work of the department on curriculum development, activities and pedagogy.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

WORKING CONDITIONS  

Working in a school setting. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy indoor environment with work inside about 85% of the time and work outside about 15% of the work schedule. Ability to stand/sit and/or squat for extended periods of time. Perform other duties that may be assigned.

 

Dates: April 10 - end of the school year.

Middle School

North Andover Middle School serves more than 1,100 students and their families in grades 6-8. Our entire faculty and staff work with students to achieve high academic and social standards as well as personal and community responsibility. Personal and academic growth as well as building skills in self advocacy during the middle school years prepares students for high school and beyond.
